hey you guys welcome back to another
video today we are going to be doing
poly gel nails I will put all of the
links down below in my description box
before we can begin I have to fix a cut
that I got right before I started while
cleaning my slow stove so first thing
you're gonna see me do here is I am
going to be sizing up all of my nail
plates with one of the molds that you
put the poly gel in so when you're
curing it into the light it holds the
structure that you make with the poly
gel now what you see me doing right here
is I have to actually size down the mold
a little bit because my nail plates are
pretty small so you just file it down a
little bit just to make it fit perfect
on your nail plate
[Music]
now here you just want to make sure that
your buffing all the shine off of each
of your natural nails this is going to
help it adhere to your nails
[Music]
[Music]
first up you're going to put primer down
on each of your natural nails this is
just going to dehydrate all of the oils
out of your nails that way that doesn't
mix in with the poly gel and create
lifting after you put the primer down
you let it dry for a second and then
you're going to add the base coat gel
which helps protect your natural nail
from the poly Joe and it helps keep the
poly gel stuck to your nil when you cure
it in the light and you pull it out do
not wipe the sticky part off you're
going to place the poly gel mold on top
of the sticky gel base that you've
already put down
[Music]
I'm going to grab one of the molds which
is going to be my thumbnail you're going
to place just a dab of the poly gel it
doesn't take much into the mold you're
going to take your brush and put it into
the slip solution which is actually just
rubbing alcohol and you're going to
start molding it or placing it in the
mold to your desired length and
thickness it actually smooths out like
butter I could not believe how easy this
stuff is to just move around as long as
you keep enough slip a solution on your
brush you will have no problems moving
that poly gel around but if you don't
have enough slip solution on your brush
it gets really sticky and it will stick
to the brush and then it makes an ooey
gooey mess when placing down the mold on
your nail you're just going to gently
put it down on your nail you don't want
to squeeze too hard because if you do
some of the poly gel will come up around
the edges as you see I'm taking my brush
and kind of wiping around that's because
some of the gel came out from the side
then you're going to flip your nail over
and wipe the poly gel underneath your
nail to make it smooth so it's not stuck
to the bottom of your nail and it just
makes it easier for filing when your
nail is completed
[Music]
now this part everybody talks about is
so satisfying and honestly it is it's
where after you've cured the poly gel
you get to pop the mold off the poly gel
and it just there's your knell it is
amazing the filling look at that it is
perfect yes I have to do some filing of
course but look how easy that was
it's just a like a two-step thing and
you're done now I'm going to repeat this
on all of my nails same step that I did
with the thumb I didn't think that I had
to keep repeating and showing you guys
I'm sure you get you know what I'm
trying to show you so I'm going to fast
forward this part and let you guys just
listen to some music while I'm fixing
these
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
you
[Music]
[Music]
now after you've cured all of your poly
gel on your hand and you're getting the
desired length and shape that you like
you're going to take some rubbing
alcohol which is what you see me
spraying on my nails right here and
you're just going to give them a quick
wipe that just takes off the additional
sticky residue that comes after the poly
gel has been cured but before you're
putting on your base coat are your top
coat sorry
[Music]
[Music]
so here I'm just going to continue to
repeat all of the steps but on my other
hand I'm just going to go ahead and play
some music sit back relax and enjoy as I
finish this up and I will show you my
final product
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
so here I'm just going to be filing
getting the shape that I desire which I
was going for more of a coffin look you
can choose any shape and the poly gel is
so easy to file into whatever shape it
is that you're looking for it honestly
just smoothes itself out perfectly I
absolutely am in love with this product

I want you to show me someone like you
someone like you I want you to know me
cuz I know then you'll see we could beat
you I want you to see
something so
I want you to see that
after filing and buffing you're gonna
wash your hands when you come back
you're going to go ahead and put your
top coat on the top coat in mica is very
thick I'm not sure if that's a normal
thing or not but it is very very thick
so be cautious when putting it on that
you don't do too thick of a coat because
otherwise that might have a hard time
carrying under the UV light but you're
going to go ahead and place this on all
of your nails I always do my thumb first
then I go ahead and go in and do the
rest of my nails so I'm just going to do
this on all of my nails I will see you
at the end of this video
[Music]
[Music]
but this time it's more you see the same
in st. the same they say levels are and
they
[Music]
but you make my life so bright I feel so
